Non-profit & advocacy

A global awareness day, carried by earned reach

World Elephant Day is a worldwide campaign with no media budget behind it. Every bit of attention had to be earned — through partners, press and a hashtag people actually wanted to use.

What we did
  • Ran the hashtag strategy across Twitter and Instagram
  • Coordinated partner organisations and ambassadors onto one message
  • Measured with Talkwalker and Keyhole so the reach could be evidenced
  • Supported press outreach into international newsrooms

Events & festivals

A festival video the algorithm decided to subsidise

Latincouver runs Carnaval del Sol with a volunteer team and a small budget. They needed reach for the festival and a team who could work on the ground through the weekend, not just hand over a deck.

What we did
  • Led with video, which outperformed every other format we tested
  • Trained volunteers with a simple shot list rather than a lecture
  • Captured content on site and ran the channels live through the event
  • Also delivered entrepreneur training workshops for their community programme

They captured compelling content, trained our volunteers, and managed everything end-to-end. Together we achieved maximum impact and unforgettable moments.

Direct selling

Ten years inside one global brand’s marketing team

A consumer brand selling through a distributed salesforce across multiple markets. Corporate marketing, live events, product launches and compliance all moving at once — and a distributor network that publishes faster than any approval process.

What we did
  • Marketing and communications across corporate channels
  • Product launches and promotional campaigns, on site at conventions and events
  • Blogs and SEO, plus Meta ads with Pixel tracking and conversion setup
  • Hootsuite set-up and day-to-day management, and ongoing reputation management
10+ yrsContinuous service for one client
517KMonthly ad impressions at ~$2K spend
Direct selling

One brand built from zero, another defended

Two more direct-selling clients with opposite problems. One had no social presence at all. The other had plenty of presence and needed it actively managed.

What we did
  • Stood up the entire social stack for one brand from nothing
  • Set up and ran Hootsuite as their publishing and monitoring hub
  • Ran social plus reputation management for the second brand
  • Put monitoring and escalation rules in place so issues surfaced early

Non-profit web

A cultural centre, moved onto WordPress

VLACC needed a website its own team could keep current, rather than one that required a developer for every edit.

What we did
  • Built on WordPress so staff could publish without touching code
  • Structured the site around what visitors actually come looking for
  • Set up analytics and search-engine basics at launch

Local & education

Half a million impressions on a $400 budget

A single-location martial arts school competing for local attention with a budget that would not cover one week at agency rates.

What we did
  • Tested campaign objectives against each other rather than guessing
  • Kept targeting tight to the surrounding neighbourhoods
  • Split spend across offer claims, page growth and event promotion
  • Killed the campaigns that were not earning their keep

E-commerce & retail

A catalogue that had to work on somebody else’s storefront

A cycling-accessories brand selling through Amazon in two countries and into a big-box retailer. On those channels the product page is the whole shopfront — and theirs was thin, inconsistent, and losing to worse products with better copy.

What we did
  • Rewrote and HTML-coded descriptions across the full accessories range
  • Built the Amazon US and Mexico product feeds to each marketplace’s spec
  • Produced feature-comparison tables so shoppers could self-select
  • Kept naming and specs consistent between the retail channel and the brand’s own site

Benchmarked against the category before spending a dollar

A craft spirits brand wanted paid social. The honest first question was not which creative to run — it was whether their organic engagement was even at category par, and what the category was actually doing.

What we did
  • Benchmarked social engagement against the wider craft beer and spirits category
  • Ran keyword research and sized a LinkedIn ad budget before committing spend
  • Built the content strategy off what the benchmark exposed, not off a template
  • Set the measurement up first so the spend could be judged fairly

B2B & logistics

LinkedIn for an industry nobody calls glamorous

A logistics company with a long sales cycle, a technical buyer, and no obvious reason to be on social media — which is exactly the brief where most agencies produce noise.

What we did
  • Started from why the business should be on social at all, in writing
  • Made LinkedIn the primary channel rather than spreading thin
  • Built a content marketing plan around what their buyers actually search
  • Wrote the company positioning and service copy that the programme ran on

Product launch

A product with no audience, four weeks before crowdfunding

A gardening product heading into a Kickstarter with no existing following, no content, and a hard campaign deadline. Everything had to exist before day one and keep working after the campaign closed.

What we did
  • Stood up every channel from zero — YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter
  • Made social the primary acquisition route for backers, not an afterthought
  • Built the content runway before the campaign opened
  • Set it up to keep earning after the crowdfunding window closed
